Usually, in Minnesota, this is the time of the winter when everyone wishes they could just get out of here! The weather is typically terrible, we haven't seen the ground for months because its covered with snow, and the car just won't warm up no matter how long you drive it. This winter has been eerily mild. We haven't gotten more than 3 or 4 inches of snow at a crack yet, and during most of January and February (so far), the daytime highs have been in the 30s. This is all to say that I'm not as desperately dreaming of a trip as usual!
But, with the excitement of the holidays gone, and a long time to wait until the weather is actually warm, I still dream of getting away. I'd love to go to New Orleans!
I would spend my time riding the trolley...
And checking out the French neighborhoods...
And hopefully listening to a concert played by this guy!
Maybe next year!
This winter has been so mild! I'm kind of upset that I haven't seen any snow yet! I want to visit NOLA SO badly! I think it's gorgeous!
